My focus of astrology is on past lives, the lessons we need to learn in this life and how to accomplish that. I've been studying Harry's chart. Not sure...do I call him prince or duke...yet he eschews that life...yet, he still keeps his titles. Oh, what a confusing muddle puddle.
As I wrote in my last post, I feel that Harry is King Henry VIII reincarnated and Meghan is Anne Boleyn reincarnated. I've detailed some reasons why I felt that way in that post. So now I dive deeper into the past life that is heavily influencing his current life.
An observation that came to me last night is the asteroids pertaining to his life as Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn/Megain is that they are in the 8th house: Henry VIII. There's that number eight. Then it's in the sign of Leo, and Leo can mean king. Hmmmm... Also, Harry's sun sign is Virgo, and Henry's Ascendant was Virgo. Yeah, a little weak link, but it's just another thing to notice.
Astrology is like connecting the dots and unraveling all these little clues or puzzle pieces. It's really quite extraordinary and fun!
The following is a journey of my thought processes in studying more about Harry's chart and how I'm convinced even more that he is Henry. I hope I'll present this in such a way as to make sense.
When looking to clues of our past lives (or the one that is really pressing upon this current iteration), we look to the South Node. In the chart below, the South Node (SN) isn't shown, but it's exactly opposite the North Node (NN). The NN is in the lower right quadrant and looks like a little light bulb. It's very close to the crescent moon and the Bolin (Boleyn) asteroid. So, SN is sitting at 29 degrees Scorpio, opposite NN, which is 29 degrees Taurus. (Scorpio is in the upper left quadrant, and the glyph looks like an M with an arrow on it. Oh, hey, MM has quite a pointedness to her personality - lol).
Since 29 degrees is on the cusp between the 11th and 12th houses, it's good to look at both houses. I know some of this might be confusing if you don't know much about astrology - which I'm just a novice in this life - but I'll try to explain it as simply as I can. Some of you may know more about astrology, so I hope this part isn't boring to you. Anyway, being on a cusp is important because you can have qualities of both signs and/or houses.
In astrology, you try to accentuate the positives and give hope because there is always hope. But when dealing with a past life, you look for the negative patterns. This helps in finding out the lessons you've come to learn in this life time.
The SN is 29 degrees Scorpio in the 11th house. The 11th house has to do with, among other things, the hive mind (beliefs about royalty), our role in groups (his role as a king), reform (breaking with the Catholic church), hopes and wishes (the need to have a male heir). The ruler of the house plays an important part in how things play out. Scorpio's rulers are Pluto and Mars. Pluto is actually in the 11th house, which means it's in its own domain. It's very comfy there, so to speak, and will further amplify the Plutonian energies.
What are the aspects of Pluto that are negative or can be negative, esp. when you're viewing it in light of a past life? Transformations; death and rebirth; wiping the slate clean; destruction and creation; cruelty, sadism, treachery. Those descriptions are ticking off a lot of boxes for the life of Henry VIII.
Now let's look at the other ruler of Scorpio, which is Mars. I think most people associate Mars with anger, aggression, and war. Let's add forcefulness, tempestuousness, quick tempered, cold, contempt, lack of willpower, strife, conflict, destruction, violence, impulsive, and impatient. Yep, sounds like Henry VIII.
Let's talk about Scorpio, the house the SN is in. Scorpio's mantra is "I desire." Scorpions are poisonous, and their sting is often fatal. (Off with her heads!) Their negatives: vengeful, obstinate, unyielding, intense, volatile, jealous and possessive, destructive, unpredictable, dominating and controlling. They can have complicated relationships - like a Jekyll and Hyde in how they treat others. The sign of Scorpio rules the genitals, which goes with Henry VIII wanting/needing to have children.
Well, this certainly gives a picture of someone like Henry VIII, even throwing in the group/hive mind of royalty and the pressure to produce an heir. When he couldn't get his way in annulment, he broke with the Catholic Church, which plays into the reform the 11th house represents.
Then we have a conjunction - a very close planet - in Uranus. It's in the next house over and kinda looks like an H with a line and circle. Or, as the goof in me sees, it looks like two thighs, and the circle is the anus. This helps me remember what the glyph for UrAnus is. (I know, I'm weird). Even if Uranus wasn't conjunct the SN, I would still look to the 12th house, since the SN is on the cusp. And, depending on which house system you use, the SN just might be in the 12th house. (I used whole sign house in this chart).
So what does the 12th house signify? Collective unconscious (perhaps what people think about royalty and how it needs to pass from father to son); addictions and escapism (ties in with Harry's drug use and Henry's overeating); hidden enemies; the unconscious; self-sabotage; the womb (must have a son); sacrifices ("Off with her head!"), and karma (ding, ding, ding, ding, ding!)
Now let's look at that Uranus conjunction in the 12th house, which is in Sagittarius. Uranus rules change and originality. There are sudden shocks/upheavals and awakenings; Uranus is the unconscious, which hey, isn't that what the 12th contains! Uranus is eccentric, lacks discipline, reckless, perverse, unpredictable. It breaks the rules, which Henry VIII certainly did. He broke the rules of the Catholic church. He broke the rules of matrimony - marrying much and beheading much, too.
Now I'm going to muddy the waters a bit. This is where it can get confusing, but I like to look at as much information as I can. In a birth chart, your ascendant/rising sign is put in the first house. This starts the counting - counterclockwise - of the houses, so that's how we get that the SN is in the 11th house. In birth charts, you often don't get that Aries is the ascendant. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, so if the Ascendent was in Aries, you'd have a lovely counting of the zodiac that would match the birth chart to the zodiac wheel. But, as you can see in the chart above, Harry's Ascendant is Capricorn - the glyph below the arrow/Sagittarius glyph. But since it's the Ascendant, we count that as the first house, even though Capricorn is the 10th sign. If you go around the wheel, without putting any of the birth chart signs in, the zodiac signs would line up. For example, Aries would be the 1st house, Taurus the 2nd house, Gemini the 3rd house, and so on.
So, in keeping with that, even though the ruler of the 11th house in Harry's birth chart is Scorpio, in the zodiacal wheel, it would be the 11th sign, which is Aquarius. Aquarius' rulers are Saturn and Uranus. Well, looky there! We were just talking about Uranus! There's a nice reception there - a familiarity and comfort - that ties the 11th and 12th houses together. Uranus in the 12th is magnetizing even more that Saturnian energy that's in the 11th.
Saturn is the "Celestial Taskmaster." As stern, cold, and restrictive Saturn is, we are strengthened through our difficulties. Saturn was trying to strengthen Henry’s soul through his desperate need for a male heir, but he botched it up big time. These lessons are carrying over again in this life. Saturn represents the lessons we need to learn in this life. Saturn can also be manipulative, ambitious, selfish, obstinant, and cruel. Sounds like many of the same characteristics I've mentioned above.
Mars, which I've mentioned above, is also in the 12th! We have yet another commonality and tie-in. Mars is conjunct/near Uranus; it looks like a circle with an arrow pointing to the right. Well, I already mentioned Mars' negative attributes, so I won't say more about it. I thought it was really cool that there's another tie-in between the two houses and the SN.
12th house ruler in Harry's birth chart is Sagittarius. Its negatives are ambitious, easily bored, gets feelings hurt easily. Sagittarius also tends to get "obsessed" with a new idea (or person) and go as far as they can with it. (Whoops, didn't get a son out of you; I shall discard you). Sag also rules liver, which, in Chinese medicine, is connected with anger. Seems to me Henry VIII had a lot of anger issues.
Now if you want to go a bit further afield, you could look at Neptune, which is also in the 12th house. (It looks like a trident). Neptune is about mysteries, illusions, deceptions, treachery and fraud - a recurrent theme from what I wrote about above. Neptune rules Pisces. Pisces' negatives: emotional, gullible, conflicting desires, temper; vulnerable to addictions; drawn to vulnerable/wounded people. It is the sign of self-undoing, which 12th house is the sign of self-sabotage - self-undoing. Another great commonality to tie the two houses together.
Also, in the non-birth chart, Pisces rules this house. Pisces is also ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter generally lends wonderful energies, but it can indicate extravagance and laziness. If you get want you want easily (like being born into royalty), you won't develop strength of character and patience.
Pisces is ruled by Jupiter and Neptune. Neptune is in its house - Pisces - so it magnifies the energies. What is also interesting is Jupiter is conjunct Neptune, but in the 1st house. Just another piece of the puzzle and more energies/influences that round out the connections.
Something else interesting is the wheel chart's ruler of the 8th house is Scorpio/Pluto. The 8th house has the asteroids Henry, Rachel (Meghan's first name; there is no Meghan asteroid), Anna, Annie (no Anne asteroid), and HenriTudor. The SN is in Scorpio in the 11th house, which is square to this 8th house.Squaring the nodes, as I mentioned in my previous post, indicates a strong connection between a past and future life. So all that Scorpionic energy is magnified and tied together.
I think I'll stop here. There's been quite a lot of written about already. I'll write more later as I learn more. I'll also write about the lessons Harry's soul wants him to learn in this life.
Of course, I shall say the usual caveat about astrology: For entertainment purposes only.
(I certainly found this entertaining!)
Part Three: King Henry VIII - Waaagh: Pluto/Soul Evolutionary Cycle
I really enjoyed this.. so interesting. thanks..
