This is my first analysis of the discovery of Arrokoth. I have a couple other charts that I’ll look into soon. I wanted to include many different asteroids, hence, multiple charts. Since no exact time is given (only the date) of its discovery, I won’t go into the houses, since I’d need to know the minute Arrokoth was spotted.
Also, I’m not doing all the aspects, since that would be a rather exhaustive report.
Okyrhoe conjunct Arrokoth and Pluto in Capricorn.
I included Okyrhoe because her parents were Chiron and Chariklo, and this feels like an embryo/something being born.
Pluto symbolizes evolving, metamorphosis, magic, renewal, regenerating/ transforming, death and rebirth, beginnings and endings.
Okyrhoe also symbolizes support, so with Pluto’s energy, she is helping to midwife Arrokoth being born?
They’re in Capricorn, which is determined and patient. Arrokoth is way out there, waiting to be discovered/received. It’s also independent and self-sufficient.
Arrokoth, Okyrhoe, and Pluto square Leleakuhonua and Uranus, as well as squaring Mars. Some of these are wide, but with the Arrokoth conjunctions, they’re acting as a group energy.
Leleakuhonua symbolizes far-sightedness, abundance, inclusion, integration of old and new, as well as past, present, and future. Leleakuhonua is Hawaiian for where the sky meets the Earth, which shares “sky” with the Powhatan “Arrokoth.” Is it a square because there are circumstances that challenge integrating past, present, and future? That humans will go kicking and screaming, not wanting to integrate all parts of ourselves – past, present, future, old and new?
Pluto can represent betrayal, contempt, corruption, etc. Is corruption and betrayal going to be exposed on a large scale within our lifetimes of the discovery of Arrokoth?
Mars is bringing in fiery energy, impatience, aggression, ego. But circumstances of the squares inspires us to reach for the higher energies of Mars, which can make us brave and determined as we tackle the exposures of worldwide betrayal and corruption.
Arrokoth, Okyrhoe, and Pluto opposite Sun
Oppositions - two sides to the same coin. Perhaps the Sun is here to illuminate and shine a spotlight on the Arrokoth, Okryhoe, and Pluto energies of combining together/merging, transforming, integrating; death and renewal.
Arrokoth, Okyrhoe, and Pluto sextile Deucalion
Deucalion symbolizes being perceptive, manifester, imaginative, resourceful, and magical. I think this is why Arrokoth is like a shape shifter; Deucalion is bringing out that side to Arrokoth, which shows us what we need at the moment; Arrokoth is an adaptogenic. Deucalion is also about wiping the slate clean and starting over again. Deucalion and his wife seeded a new earth after a deluge.
Neptune square Venus and Altjira
Squares bring events to challenge us as we discover Arrokoth. Altjira can be about confusion, but can also pertain to dreamwork, remote viewing, and visions. This is similar to Neptune’s energies of confusion, distraction, and being unrealistic. Venus can be overindulgent and lazy. Maybe lazy thinking about this new discovery and what it really means? Not taking the time to do the visioning and dreamwork to discover more about Arrokoth? Venus rules Libra, which can sometimes be seen as duplicitous; Libra can waffle and be indecisive. Venus is in Gemini, which can bring duplicity and fickleness, so perhaps there is something of those energies surrounding the discovery of Arrokoth.
Chiron conjunct Manwe
Manwe is logical and is from the Undying Lands across the ocean from Middle Earth. So maybe Undying Lands is like Arrokoth, which is across the vast ocean of space and brings in healing and transcendence. Chiron can also be about duality, and this is a bi-lobate asteroid. Chiron offers deep healing potential, and I feel Arrokoth offers that.
Chiron square Mercury and Ixion
Ixion can be about perception, understanding karma, and second chances. Is Arrokoth offering humanity a second chance? But Ixion often doesn’t learn from his mistakes.
Mercury can be critical, deceitful, erratic, illogical, indecisive, and anxious. Is this a description of humanity?
Chiron is coming in with a square, trying to bring about circumstances that are designed to heal and transcend the lower energies of Mercury and Ixion perhaps.
Chiron trine Jupiter and Saturn
Perhaps Jupiter’s energies of expansion and spreading knowledge is harmonizing with Chiron’s healing and transcendence.
Chiron’s trine Saturn is bringing maturity, responsibility, commitment, and seriousness to this healing process.
Venus conjunct Altjira
Venus brings in balance and harmony with Altjira’s visions, dreamwork, and remote viewing.
Mercury conjunct Sun and Moon
Wow, all three are conjunct each other! This feels potent! Sun symbolizes who we are and can be our ego, but also our soul purpose and gifts. Moon is our intuitive, emotional, and hidden sides. Now we add Mercury to the mix, bringing in perception, communication, logic, and reasoning.
These three are opposing the other triple conjunction of Okyrhoe, Arrokoth, and Pluto. The opposition is highlighting the duality – maybe of the more hidden (Moon) and seen aspects (Sun) conjunctions with the more waaaay out there dwarf planets/asteroids that are literally hidden and unseen. But the opposition seeks wholeness with the different energies. So, is this a signpost that Arrokoth wants to be known (Mercury/communication) on its various levels – physical (its discovery) and intuitively (from the Moon)? Sun and Moon conjunct means identity is very intuitive and introspective. Are we picking up on those energies, helping to give voice to Arrokoth?
Jupiter sextile Sedna
Jupiter is about expansion, spreading knowledge, abundance, opportunities, growth. Sedna is discerning and transcending, so is Jupiter emphasizing her energies?
Mars conjunct Haumea and North Node (so opposite South Node)
Is Mars giving more energy to help to give birth (fertility goddess Haumea) to Arrokoth? With the North Node – the future – Arrokoth is now being born/activated into humanity’s consciousness. They’re in the sign of Libra – balance and harmony.
Mars and Haumea opposite Uranus
Now add to the Mars conjunct Haumea the Uranian energies of disruption, awakening, perception, and liberation. This opposition is making a t-square with Arrokoth, so direct influence!
Mars opposite Uranus, with a T-square to the Arrokoth, Pluto, Okyrhoe conjunction
T-squares can be stressful, but are very energetic and effective. The apex is the Arrkoth conjunctions, which function as a catalyst. They’re in cardinal signs, so this will be even more dynamic, but maybe more impatient. Can be thought of as initiating, so initiating into our consciousness? Mars is fiery energy, and Uranus is something out of the blue, unexpected. Pluto is beginnings and endings, and here is the discovery of Arrkoth. Okyrhoe is the child of healers Chiron and Chariklo… here's this new “child” coming into our awareness.
Haumea sextile Ixion
Ixion - second chances, understands karma, and is discerning/perceptive. Haumea, the fertility goddess, is more fiery and energetic due to the Mars conjunction. Maybe Ixion and Haumea are bringing in more discernment and chances for humanity to wake up or face karma.
Saturn conjunct Deucalion and Ceto
In Scorpio – so diving deep into the watery, shadowy depths.
Saturn brings maturity, structure, and responsibility to the other two. Ceto is imaginative and is a sea monster who symbolizes the fears of the unconscious and the collective unconscious. Deucalion is a perceptive manifester, resourceful, and magical. He seeded a new earth after a deluge. Lots of water in this aspect, with the two asteroids and Scorpio. Does it mean a literal deluge or intuition, emotions, and/or diving deep to uncover the inner knowing, the divine truth?
